Summary

The story introduces Bash ,en ex fire pilot, and Gwen, a yoga instructor, while they are stuck overnight at the airport due to a a snowstorm. So as grumpy meets sunshine they experience a meet-cute that feels like it runs quite deep. They part ways and meet again later on but now Gwen is dating his newfound son, Tripp. Bash draws a clear line so as to not ruin his relationship with Tripp. But fate apparrently had other plans and they meet again in the small town of Rose Hill.

Analysis

Character Development

Bash : As a character he has accumulated quite the wound throughout his life which has shaped him into the grumpy, closed-off guy that he is. Despite all that along the way acknowledges that past wounds are what is keeping him from moving on. Honestly, he was so sesitive and thoughtful as a partner that even the part where the couple is at odds can be dismissed.

Gwen : As a female character she was quite straightforward about her goals and beliefs. Also, it was one of my first times to see a female yearner , although she always tried to understand Bash's point of view. She was really kind and supportive and Bash's first description of her literally screamed " sunshine girlfriend".
